Our goal is to analyze several different political cartoons having to do with Undocumented Workers and the truth vs. truthiness involving this topic. We are also identifying the different types of framing that goes along with each of these cartoons. We are analyzing the biases of each cartoon.
We are identifying the facts and myths throughout history and what laws and policies that have been set in place. We are also analyzing the history of the political cartoons and what instances have made an impact on history.
We examined every state and discovered information and articles that have pertained to each individual state and their laws and policies that deal with immigration and undocumented workers.
We have also examined the newest immigration laws in effect in Alabama and Arizona. We are comparing and contrasting the two as well as looking at New Mexico and Texas' laws.
We have analyzed historical political cartoons and explored the positive and negative biases with in each cartoon. We have examined them in depth and exposed the facts and myths involving the cartoons.
We took a look outside the newsroom and searched within pop culture and found how different types of groups of media have certain opinions and jokes involving immigration.
We have researched the current status of immigration laws and undocumented workers and examined how it has affected us today. We have also researched how much of the news coverage involves Immigration.
